The uses for this interface are two-fold. If the switching transistor in the host machine is not powerful enough to drive the CUBE HOPPER, this interface will solve that problem. It also solves the problem of coins remaining in the coin exit. This sometimes happens if the STOPcommand is received too early. By checking the coin-out sensor, the interface will turn the motor until the coin, blocking the optic sensor, is ejected and cleared.
